Perdido Key Master Plan

The Perdido Key Master Plan was adopted by the Escambia Board of County Commissioners on June 2, 2016. The Perdido Key Master Plan is based on public input, planning initiatives, existing development, physical and environmental characteristics, and social and economic conditions. It is a comprehensive document that guides development and future growth of the community. It includes analysis, recommendations and proposals for housing, transportation, facilities, land use and economy. The Perdido Key Master Plan will help decision makers maintain a balance between protection and conservation and growth and development. The information contained in the plan is intended to guide decisions related to public and private use of land and public facilities in a manner compatible with the land’s character and adaptability, thus promoting good stewardship of resources.
