Natural Resources Conservation
The Escambia County Natural Resources Conservation Division provides citizens with technical assistance to address land care concerns, such as soil erosion and drainage issues, and also helps to assure adequate water supplies, reduced energy consumption, improved air quality and the general conservation of the county’s limited resources. The division partners with the United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service, or USDA/NRCS, to bring about the conservation of land, water and related resources. Technicians provide assistance to implement USDA/NRCS cost-share programs to local producers and landowners. For more information, visit the USDA/Natural Resources Conservation website.
