Who We Are:
The Engineering Division consists of a group of engineers, technicians and clerical professionals who provide transportation and stormwater management services to the residents of Escambia County.
What We Do:
- Roads and drainage systems design and construction.
- Roadway improvements for capacity and safety.
- Property acquisition services, including paving and road vacation petitions.
- Survey services in support of roads and drainage system improvement projects.
What We Do Not Do:
- Potable water or sanitary sewer (ECUA, 476-0480)
- Maintenance of roads or drainage systems (Roads Division, 937-2120)
- Traffic speed enforcement (Sheriff's Office, 436-9630)
- Traffic school or traffic tickets (Clerk of Court, 595-4360)
- Surveys of private property (Contact a private survey company)
- Purchase of property for residential improvement projects
- Purchase of drainage easements
- Traffic signs maintenance (Roads Division, 937-2120)

are intended to provide information regarding changes
of Escambia County's policies, procedures, standards
and/or specifications to the general public, design
professionals and developers. Details regarding
proposed changes will be posted for a minimum of 30
calendar days for review and comment. Comments
are encouraged regarding these changes and should
be submitted in writing to the attention of Colby Brown prior to the end of the 30-day review
